Hey Folks!! I'm back again with today's topic

BHANGRA... (Applause!!! lol)

I guess most of them have heard about the Bhangra music n dance...

Lets start with some info about Bhangra

Bhangra is a form of music and dance that originated in the Punjab region. Bhangra began as a folk dance conducted by farmers to celebrate the coming of Spring, a time known as Vaisakhi. Today, bhangra survives in different forms and styles all over the globe – including pop music, film soundtracks, and even collegiate competitions.

Enough of Information.. now lets have some fun watching this video.. Damn!!! I just loved it... can't help myself from posting it in here!!!!

Gudalur 2

It was a long day today.. however.. i've decided to head back home early today. I'll be reaching home early today after many days..

I'm feeling a bit sleepy already.. it was a hot day and i had to travel quiet a distance to meet couple of my clients.. Had my so called lunch at 5:45pm..

Anyways... back to my blogging stuff!!!

Gudalur - Part 2 ;)

We entered the Bandipur National Park in the afternoon and were crossing the forest.

It was hot, very calm and hardly any vehicle on the road.. we saw a couple of ppl walking and some vehicles wich we overtook and some which overtook our van.

All we could see were some wild bushes on either side of the road.


We did come across few Deers on the way.. This one caught our attention as it was calmly eating the grass on the bank of the lake.



Also, we did spot an Elephant. I always admire elephants.. i don't have any specific reason to it.



We thought it was the only one, but pretty soon we knew that it was not alone and it actually had a herd behind it.



In the herd, we noticed that the group had a Small elephant and the other elephants were protecting the smaller one by keeping it inside their group. I could sense that the Other elephants were protecting this smaller one. I wanted to get a proper snap of the Smaller elephant, but unfortunately i didn't get a proper glimpse of it as the other big elephants were all around it, protecting.

We all were having good fun and we thought that we should stop and take a group picture.

Yay!!!! here we go.. the entire gang posing.. with all smiles :P

Gudalur 1

I had to wait quiet a long time to decide on what to be posted today!!

Alas!, made up my mind to put some pictures on our Trip to GUDALUR (Tamil Nadu, India).

Me n My friends planned to celebrate the New Year at Gudalur. We all took a Van and started from Chennai.

We planned to cross BANGALORE by morning, but things were not meant to be the way we planned.

We stopped by a Tea Shop as our Van driver was dozing off while driving..

In front of the Tea Shop even before the Sun could peep out!! (I Miss u all dudes!!!)

Along the Road as the sun slowly wakes up lifting its head ;) We were somewhere near to Krishnagiri.. still far away from Bangalore.By afternoon we crossed Bangalore and reached MYSORE..

We didn't stop as we wanted to reach the destination - GUDALUR as soon as we can, which is why we couldn't take snaps in n around Mysore.

However, here is one,

We entered the Bandipur National Park in the Afternoon, we had to cross through the National Park to reach Gudalur which was our Final destination.

Today.. I've decided to put few snaps taken @ Muttukadu (Chennai, India).


Lemme brief about Muttukadu first...

Muttukadu - Located at 23 km from Adayar (Chennai, India), this backwater area is maintained by the Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation, and offers rowing, wind surfing, water skiing, and speedboat riding.

These pictures were taken last year during a drive down the ECR Road.

I'm putting few more snaps taken @ Muttukadu that evening.
I hope they are good!! ;)

Photography

Its been my passion for long time to be a Professional photographer.. so far its kinda distance dream for me..

Photography is something which i really love to do at anytime..

After a long struggle I managed to get a Digital Camera, well not a Dslr though a Point and Shoot one..

I hardly use it these days.. I should make time to click some snaps on a regular basis, which means getting out of the house on Weekend..

I'll put some of the snaps i took which i guess are under the "Not Bad" category ;)

I love the light n color on this particular picture of a Hotel at the corner of a Road!!!

hello everybody!!!

its been quiet a long time since i thought i should maintain something!!!

Its nice to get into something new.. today the time has come for me to get into action.. I know it sounds funny.. but am i bothered??? lol.. nope!!! not at all.. no way dude!!!

Well... My work time hardly gives me time to update the blog on regular basis.. and also i don't know how far and frequently i'll be updating the blog.. anyways.. its not gonna stop me from start blogging...

I'm juz taking my first step.. well.. infact i took the half step few months ago.. but didn't bother to start blogging!!!

Well.. my blog is gonna contain anything starting from Important news, updates to rubbish updates!!!!
